About these terms
These terms apply to all orders placed through thegiftmaison.com. By placing an order you agree to them. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published at the time of your order is the one that applies.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email. We may decline an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if we cannot verify payment, or if there is a pricing error.
Personalisation
Personalised items are produced exactly as you enter the details at checkout. We do not correct spelling, capitalisation or spacing. Please check your entry carefully before ordering, as personalised items cannot be amended once production has begun.
We reserve the right to decline personalisation requests that are offensive, unlawful, or which infringe someone else’s trade mark or copyright.
Pricing and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you before dispatching and you may cancel.
Products
Our jewellery is 18K gold plated over stainless steel unless stated otherwise. Product images are representative; natural stone and enamel finishes vary slightly between pieces, which is part of their character.
Plated jewellery requires care. Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, chlorine and water to maintain the finish. Wear-and-tear to plating over time is not considered a fault.

Liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by us failing to meet these terms. We are not liable for business losses. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales.
